The McMinnville Sci-Fi Film Festival, formally the McMinnville UFO Film Festival started in 2011. Hosted by McMinnville’s local house of entertainment The Reel Hollywood Video, the festival started with a desire to make films accessible to everyone. Holding a free festival open to all filmmakers young and old alike, the festival was a way for locals to create something fun with friends and family and see their work on the big screen. Now the McMinnville Sci-Fi Film Festival has grown bigger than anyone could imagine with hundreds of submission from around the world every year.
